| Iowa City Area Commercial Market Study - In
May 2010, Cook Appraisal completed its first Iowa City Area Commercial
Study covering Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. This
study was prompted by local banks needing information on the true status
of our local office, retail and industrial property markets. A
survey was sent to over 500 property owners/managers in these three
communities. From there, results were gathered and research
collected. The following link includes a summary of this survey
and research. A more comprehensive report was also completed that includes
information on property sales and leases from the local market.
If you would like more information about the study, or how to
participate in the future, please contact our office at 319-351-2044. 2010 Commercial Survey The Greater Iowa City Apartment Rental Survey covers Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. It was started in 1992 to provide usable and valuable information on the Iowa City-area apartment rental market. The information is surveyed voluntarily from apartment complex owners/managers for complexes 12 units and over, after which, the data is compiled in summary form without any specific reference to individual complexes. This is done to protect the privacy of the participants and to encourage the most accurate information possible. Information currently surveyed includes rental rates, vacancy rates, unit sizes, government assistance and the payment of utilities. 1998 Survey• 1999 Survey• 2001 Survey• 2003 Survey• 2005 Survey• 2007 Survey • 2009 Survey Want to be involved in the next Apartment Rental Survey or want more information?
